We are a family business based in Great Wakering located on the outskirts of Southend in Essex.  We have a desire to make your your holiday or special day memorable by offering you the unique experience by travelling in style.

Poppy was born in 2007 at Danbury Motorcaravans in Bristol.  Our superb right hand drive campervan is the perfect vehicle to accompany you on your holiday.  With one of the top specifications from the manufacturer, we have added extras including alloy wheels, side step, chrome mirrors, bumpers and headlight rims and the benefit of the vehicle being lowered for added comfort whilst driving.

Questions & Answers

Q. How fast do the campers go?

A. They will do 70mph easily but a slower speed may be required until you get used to the campervan.

Q. Are they fitted with seatbelts?

A. There are two three-point seatbelts in the front, and two rear lap-belts.

Q. Can I travel to Europe?

A. Not at present unfourtunately.

Q. Do you supply bedding, pillows and towels etc?

A. This can be arranged but where possible please supply your own

Q. Where can I leave my car?

A. Your car can be left on our drive, but it is left at your own risk.  Please remember we will need a copy of your insurance certificate and shown the original on collection.

Q. Is it easy to drive?

A. Please remember that there is no power steering although once familiar, they are a pleasure to drive.

Q. Do you require a deposit?

A. We require a non-refundable booking deposit of 33% with the balance payable no less than six weeks prior to the hire date.  As standard, we also require a security deposit of £500.00 payable by cash on collection which will be returned to you upon return and inspection (see terms and conditions for further information)

Q. What happens if I bring the campervan back late?

A. If the campervan is received back late, there will be a surcharge for each additional hour (see terms and conditions for further information)

Q. What heat is there available in the campervan?

A. Whilst driving, the campervan has its own heater mounted under the dashboard but this can only be used whilst driving.  In order to use the supplied Electric heater, the campervan must be connected to the campsites electrical points using the cable which we provide.

Q. How can the electric power points be used in the campervan?

A. The power points can only be used whilst being connected to the campsites electrical point.  The four power sockets in the campervan cannot be used off the campervans battery.

Other Information

We are also available for Special Occasions including weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays and other events.  We can offer packages which will include cakes, flowers and balloons we are in a position to offer you a truely remarkable way of travelling.

You might have travelled in campervans before or even be an enthusiast of these truely wonderful vehicles.  Poppy has been lowered and has the benefit of alloy wheels and also a sidestep to spare ladies blushes.  Even though she only allows three passengers, we are able to do as many journeys to your location as you require, time permitting*
